FACES BEHIND
Artist Statement — Face Behind
Acrylic on canvas, 80 × 120 cm
Face Behind is a confrontation with truth—the kind that
does not announce itself, yet governs everything. This work
speaks to the invisible forces that shape the visible world:
the unseen hands, the silent minds, the hidden influences
that move events, people, and destinies without ever
stepping into the light.
The repeated faces emerge from a field of red, not as
individuals, but as presences. They are watchers, carriers of
knowledge that exists beyond language. Their eyes do not
seek attention; they observe. They know. The absence of
detail is intentional—truth rarely arrives fully revealed. It
comes layered, obscured, demanding stillness and courage
to be felt rather than merely seen.
The red surface holds intensity, life, danger, and power. It is
the color of blood, sacrifice, urgency, and awakening. It
reminds us that behind every structure, every system, every
success or collapse, there is an energy at work—often
ignored, often denied, yet always present. This is the world
behind the curtain, where intention is formed before action,
where influence is decided before outcome.
Face Behind speaks of the forces that guide leaders, shape
societies, and direct paths—whether spiritual, psychological, ancestral, or intuitive. It acknowledges that
the physical world does not operate alone. Every visible
movement is preceded by an invisible cause. Every result
has a source that cannot be touched, only respected.
This piece invites the collector to recognize that power is
not always loud, and influence is not always seen. True
control often exists in silence. True truth often watches
without speaking. Face Behind is a reminder that to
understand the world, one must look beyond what is
presented—and honor the unseen realities that make all
things work.
